Biography

Angela's remarkable journey began in the UK, where she was born, and continued in Syria, where she was raised amidst a rich cultural heritage. At a young age, she was drawn to the world of arts, and her passion for music led her to study classical piano, ultimately earning a degree in music from the prestigious Institute of Music in Damascus, even before completing high school.

Following her high school graduation, Angela's exceptional talent and dedication earned her a spot at The Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts, University of Damascus, one of the most renowned acting schools in the Middle East. She excelled in her studies, graduating at the top of her class with a Bachelor's degree in Dramatic Arts and receiving a full scholarship to participate in the esteemed Festival of Dramatic Arts in Avignon, France, as a representative of Syria.

Before completing her studies, Angela's talent had already made her a sought-after actress, with leading roles in numerous films and television shows broadcast across the Arab region. She worked alongside some of the biggest stars in Syria and the Middle East, starring in over 15 major productions, including the critically acclaimed "Ushak Al-Khayal" (Imaginary Lovers),"Hulago", and the popular comedy show "Maraya" (Mirrors). Her impressive performances quickly established her as a prominent and beloved actress, with a large and devoted fan base.

Angela's stage presence was equally impressive, as she worked on various Syrian productions and toured with the Syrian Theatrical Group, playing the lead role, throughout the Middle East and Europe.

Eventually, Angela relocated to the UK with her husband, where she quickly gained the attention of agents and filmmakers. She booked work on several projects, including the award-winning IMAX documentary "Journey to Mecca" and two feature films, "Three Veils" and "Bloodless", both set for release in 2011.

Angela's outstanding performance in "Three Veils" earned her the Best Lead Actress Award at the New York City International Film Festival 2011, as well as the Special Festival Recognition, New Acting Talent Award, and Most Aspiring New Actress Award, at The International Filmmaker Festival 2011, UK.
