Biography

Anshul Chauhan's life story commences in the northernmost parts of India, specifically in the year 1986, where he first took his first breath. Following his educational tenure at a renowned military academy, Chauhan proceeded to acquire a degree in Arts from a prestigious university. After completing his academic pursuits, he ventured into the realm of animation, marking the beginning of his professional journey in the year 2006.

Anshul's tenure at Paprikaas was marked by a diverse array of projects, each one showcasing his remarkable talent and dedication to the craft. One of his most notable achievements during this period was his work on the acclaimed animated series Farm Kids, a production that garnered widespread acclaim and recognition. Furthermore, Anshul also made significant contributions to the animation of the National Award-winning Indian film Delhi Safari, a cinematic masterpiece that showcased his impressive skills and expertise. Additionally, he took on the role of team leader for the BBC TV production Everything's Rosie, a testament to his exceptional leadership abilities and his capacity to inspire and motivate his colleagues.

In the year 2011, Anshul made a significant career move, relocating to the vibrant city of Tokyo, Japan, where he had the opportunity to join the esteemed animation studio, Polygon Pictures.

Anshul's professional journey continued with a stint at OLM Pictures, where he made significant contributions to the development of the Pacman animated series, a project undertaken in collaboration with the renowned Japanese entertainment company Bandai Namco.

Anshul's creative pursuits extend far beyond his professional sphere, as he has simultaneously nurtured his passion for direction, culminating in the founding of his independent animation studio, Kowatanda Films, in the year 2016.

Under the umbrella of Kowatanda, Anshul has successfully produced a total of five films, comprising three shorts and two feature-length productions, including the critically acclaimed and award-winning "Bad Poetry Tokyo" and "Kontora".
