Anthony David Harwood, a talented individual, was born in the city of Perth, situated in the western region of Australia.
During his time in Perth, Anthony had the opportunity to appear in numerous theatrical productions, showcasing his exceptional skills as a performer. His notable roles included Eugene in the iconic musical "Grease" and Amos Hart, also known as Mr. Cellophane, in the hit musical "Chicago" at the Regal Theatre.
In 2004, Anthony took the initiative to form The West Australian SP Theatre Company, with the goal of providing a platform for talented young actors to perform in Perth's professional venues. This venture allowed him to nurture and showcase the talents of many young performers.
Anthony's success in Perth paved the way for him to land a regular role on the Irish/Australian co-production "Foreign Exchange". This role, in turn, led to his portrayal of Rick Martino on the television drama "Streetsmartz" in 2005. Prior to his relocation to London, Anthony had already achieved success with his theatre company, producing two notable productions: Ben Elton's "Popcorn" and "Pageant: the Musical".
Upon relocating to London, Anthony furthered his education by obtaining a Masters in Performance from the prestigious Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. He has since had the privilege of performing in the inaugural production at the Saint James Theatre, the first new West End theatre to be built in 30 years. Throughout his career, Anthony has had the opportunity to work with esteemed directors, including Emmy award-winning Tom Kuntz, Mike Long, Jonathan Firth, Peter Lydon, and Luke Snellin.
