Anthony Howell, a talented individual, was born in the picturesque Lake District of England in 1971. His journey to becoming an accomplished actor began at the prestigious Drama Centre, where he honed his craft.
His professional acting debut was a notable one, as he embarked on a world tour with renowned director Robert Lepage's groundbreaking production, "Geometry of Miracles". This marked the beginning of a successful career, which would soon see him take on a variety of roles.
In the late 1990s, Howell made his television debut in the critically acclaimed production, "Wives and Daughters", a milestone in his journey as a professional actor.
However, it was his experience with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) that truly showcased his range as an actor. In the 1999-2000 season, he took on major roles in three of the company's main productions: Orlando in "As You Like It", Benvolio in "Romeo and Juliet", and Antipholous of Ephesus in "The Comedy of Errors". This experience undoubtedly refined his skills and broadened his acting repertoire.
More recently, Howell has taken on the role of Paul Milner in the popular television series, "Foyle's War", and is currently filming the second series of this critically acclaimed show.
