Following his academic pursuits, Tot embarked on a professional path, joining an online agency in Roubaix, where he had the opportunity to collaborate with like-minded individuals, including Camille Chafer and Emmanuel Darras. Just three years later, in 2004, the trio's hard work and dedication culminated in the release of their debut game, a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) titled Dofus, which would go on to captivate audiences worldwide.

Tot and his friends, the masterminds behind the phenomenally successful Dofus, were so enamored with the world they had created that they endeavored to expand its scope, particularly in France where the game had gained immense popularity.

In 2008, a beta testing phase was initiated for a new game, initially dubbed Dofus 2, which would eventually be rebranded as Wakfu.
