Anthony Scaramucci is the Founder and Managing Partner of SkyBridge Capital, an alternative investments firm with approximately $10 billion in assets under management. As a renowned author, Scaramucci has written three books, including the 2016 Wall Street Journal best-seller, Hopping Over the Rabbit Hole, alongside The Little Book of Hedge Funds and Goodbye Gordon Gekko.
Prior to establishing SkyBridge in 2005, Scaramucci co-founded investment partnership Oscar Capital Management, which was successfully sold to Neuberger Berman, LLC in 2001. His professional experience also includes a stint as a vice president in Private Wealth Management at Goldman Sachs & Co.
In 2016, Scaramucci was recognized as the #85 most powerful person in global finance by Worth Magazine's Power 100. He received Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year - New York" Award in the Financial Services category in 2011. Anthony is a respected member of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR),vice chair of the Kennedy Center Corporate Fund Board, and a board member of The Brain Tumor Foundation and Business Executives for National Security (BENS). He also serves as a Trustee of the United States Olympic & Paralympic Foundation and was a member of the New York City Financial Services Advisory Committee from 2007 to 2012.
Scaramucci played a significant role in President-Elect Trump's 16-person Presidential Transition Team Executive Committee in November 2016. He was subsequently named the Chief Strategy Officer of the Export-Import (EXIM) Bank in June 2017 and served as the White House Communications Director for a brief period in July 2017.
Born on Long Island, New York, Scaramucci holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Tufts University and a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School.
