April Monique Burril, a talented individual, was born in Springfield, Vermont, and spent the majority of her life residing in Maryland, situated on the picturesque shores of the Chesapeake Bay, alongside her husband, JimmyO Burril, and their two lovely daughters.
From a young age, April was trained in the visual arts and dance, which ultimately led her to join the theatre company, Jamo, in 1997. During her time with Jamo, she had the opportunity to work alongside writer/director JimmyO Burril, whom she would later marry.
As part of her promotional efforts for Jamo's productions, April and JimmyO created a horror hostess character, Chainsaw Sally. Over time, this character gained immense popularity, and it was only natural that they would bring her to life on the big screen. April has since portrayed Chainsaw Sally in numerous shows, as well as at various horror conventions and events.
In addition to her work as Chainsaw Sally, April has also developed a successful career as a fusion-style bellydancer. She performs and teaches her craft in the mid-Atlantic region, and even organizes and runs a quarterly bellydance show in Havre de Grace, Maryland, at the Cultural Center at the Opera House.
Beyond her work in film, April continues to shine on stage as a core member and resident bellydancer for the Rogue Swan Theatre Company.
