Born and raised within the serene and idyllic confines of the province of Ontario, Canada, I embarked upon a life-altering journey, ultimately deciding to relocate to the breathtakingly beautiful province of British Columbia in the year 1997, where I would eventually settle down with my cherished and loving wife, Jennifer Toland, whom I had the great fortune of marrying in the year 1996.
As I reflect on the diverse and illustrious career path I've traversed, I am reminded of the numerous prestigious roles I've had the privilege of occupying. One such position was that of an Engineer, where I leveraged my innate analytical abilities to conceptualize and develop groundbreaking solutions that addressed complex problems.
In addition to my engineering pursuits, I also had the opportunity to serve as an Architectural Builder, where I brought my creative vision to life by designing and constructing innovative structures that blended form and function.
Furthermore, for several decades, I had the pleasure of owning and operating a reputable mechanic shop, where I honed my skills as an Automotive Specialist by troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing a wide range of vehicles, from domestic to foreign makes, and from classic to cutting-edge models.
Throughout my professional journey, I have been driven by a relentless pursuit of excellence, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to delivering exceptional results.
My wife and I embarked on an extraordinary adventure in the year 2016, leaving behind the fast-paced and chaotic urban lifestyle to adopt a more laid-back and eco-friendly way of living. This bold decision marked the beginning of our off-grid journey, which would ultimately lead us to establish our very own fishing resort, nestled in the heart of the picturesque British Columbia. The serene Eliguk Lake, with its tranquil atmosphere and breathtaking natural beauty, served as the perfect backdrop for our new life, allowing us to surround ourselves with the soothing sounds of nature and live in harmony with the environment.
