Arthur Tulloch Nightingale, a British thespian of considerable renown, was born in the esteemed city of London, specifically in the district of Greenwich, within the United Kingdom, in the year 1931.
As a young lad, Nightingale's academic pursuits were tragically cut short when he decided to leave school at the tender age of fourteen, opting instead to enter the workforce.
Fast forward to a later stage of his life, when at the age of forty-two, Nightingale made the bold decision to enroll in the prestigious East 15 Acting School, situated in Loughton, Essex, United Kingdom, prior to its merger with the University of Essex.
Throughout his illustrious career, Nightingale has had the privilege of appearing in a plethora of television and cinematic productions, including the critically acclaimed 2011 film "Tinker, Tailor Soldier Spy".
One of his most notable roles, however, was in a particularly well-received television commercial for the German supermarket chain Edeka, titled "Heimkommen" or "Homecoming", which debuted in 2015.
