Ayssette Muñoz, a multifaceted Mexican-American artist, resides in Chicago, Illinois, after originating from the Rio Grande Valley. As a prominent figure in the local theatre scene, she holds the esteemed position of Co-Director of Youth and Outreach at Teatro Vista, a leading Equity Latine theatre company in Chicago.
In addition to her leadership role, Muñoz is a Passionate Teaching Artist at Steppenwolf Theatre, fostering growth and development in the next generation of theatre enthusiasts. Her extensive experience as an ensemble member at Teatro Vista has earned her widespread recognition, including being named one of Chicago Tribune's "Top 10 Hot New Faces of Chicago Theatre" in 2015.
Throughout her career, Muñoz has garnered praise and admiration from both critics and fellow artists for her exceptional acting and directorial skills.
