Person Biography:
Azmyth Kaminski, born Christopher Molsee Kaminski on December 12th, 1980, was raised by his parents Nancy Kaminski and Ed Molsee in Snohomish County, Washington. His childhood was filled with creativity, as he began drawing and creating stories inspired by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at a young age. He picked up the snare drum in 5th grade and later acquired a full drum kit. Azmyth also excelled in track and field, participating until he discovered snowboarding, which became his sport of choice.
Throughout high school, he focused on fine arts and music, playing in bands and taking every arts class available. After graduating in 1999, he attended Cornish College of the Arts but dropped out four months later to pursue a career as a DJ. This led to a five-year journey of playing shows and touring, during which he founded his production company, Equalize Entertainment.
In 2005, Azmyth moved to Los Angeles, where he picked up DJ residencies and began throwing events. However, his life took an unexpected turn when he was cast as a pirate in Pirates of the Caribbean 3 in 2007. This experience led him to get involved in the background-acting world and he quickly became a part of the reality show Pirate Master.
After his stint on Pirate Master, Azmyth shot some commercials promoting the show for his parents' company, Designers Warehouse. The videographer, Jeff Madsen, was impressed with Azmyth and cast him in one of his feature films. Azmyth earned credits as an executive and co-producer on the films, which are currently in distribution channels.
With his new credits, Azmyth took the natural step of getting headshots, which led him to venture into the modeling realm. He has created a niche for himself, walking a fine line between commercial/high-fashion and edgy/avant-garde. Azmyth has also found a new love in performing his own stunts and has been helping cast actors and models for various projects.
Today, Azmyth can be found DJing for television shows and focusing on music videos, commercials, and upcoming feature films. He is also the founder of his production company, Manifest Station, which has evolved from throwing events to creating content.
