This talented actor and writer left an indelible mark on the film industry, particularly with his lead role in Federico Fellini's 1978 masterpiece, Orchestra Rehearsal. His versatility was further showcased in his performances in The Magic Mountain (1982),starring the renowned actor Rod Steiger, as well as Doktor Faustus (1982),which featured Jon Finch and Hanns Zischler.
In addition to his impressive filmography, Baas appeared in the popular German television series Tatort (1970),as well as the films They're Too Much (1965) and Our Charly (1995).
