Bangs Garcia is a talented film and television actress, painter, and model born in Davao City, Philippines. She spent her formative years at Ateneo de Davao University from 1993 to 2005, where she honed her skills and developed her passion for the arts.
Garcia's journey in the entertainment industry began with her winning the Campus Idols interschool talent competition in 2004. Her first job was as a TV host in a teen variety show on ABS-CBN Davao, followed by her participation in the model search, Close Up to Fame, in 2005. Although she didn't win, she continued to pursue her modeling career and became a Philippine Youth Ambassador, landing her first TV commercial.
In 2006, Garcia made her acting debut in the now-defunct youth-oriented sitcom Let's Go, playing the role of Bangs, a rocker chic. In 2008, Garcia was launched as a leading lady in the prime-time action TV series Palos, and she became the new face of Tanduay, gracing billboards and TV commercials. She also appeared on the covers of FHM Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Austria, and the Czech Republic, and was featured on the centerfold of Australia.
Garcia's subsequent projects included TV series such as Midnight DJ, Kambal Sa Uma, Katorse, and Precious Hearts: My Cheating Heart, as well as films like Shake Rattle and Roll XI, Migrante, and Marino.
In 2010, Garcia began starring in several episodes of Maalaala Mo Kaya and became the main lead in TV series Magkano Ang Iyong Dangal. She also appeared in the film Cinco and continued to appear in various projects throughout the years.
