Barbara-Lee Edwards, a celebrated Canadian television news anchor, originates from the charming city of White Rock, nestled in the province of British Columbia, Canada.
Following her graduation from broadcasting school, she embarked on her professional journey at Channel 13 in Vancouver, where she began to develop her skills in the broadcasting industry.
Subsequently, she relocated to an affiliate station in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, where she continued to refine her skills and gain valuable experience.
Two years later, she was recruited by the esteemed Canadian Television Network's news station in Winnipeg, Manitoba, where she crossed paths with her future husband, Curtis Walz, a news camera operator.
The couple's professional and personal relationship blossomed in Winnipeg, and they eventually relocated to Leucadia, California in the year 2001.
Upon their arrival in California, Barbara-Lee began her tenure at CBS News 8 in San Diego, where she would go on to spend nearly two decades.
