Biography

Barry, a multifaceted individual, wears many hats as an actor, puppeteer, filmmaker, playwright, youth worker, and caffeine enthusiast. Alongside fellow puppeteer Tanya Khordoc, he co-created the comic love story "Evolution," which premiered at the esteemed HERE Arts Center in New York City in August 2000.

The following year, Barry and Tanya were honored to perform "Evolution" at the Puppeteers of America National Festival in Tampa, Florida, alongside renowned puppeteers from around the world. Barry's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Hampshire College, and he is a proud member of the Puppetry Guild of Greater New York and the Puppeteers of America.

Notably, Barry has also made a name for himself as an internationally recognized Elvis impersonator, having appeared live on stage, on televised shows, and in the cult film "The Return of the King" (1993). When he's not performing, Barry dedicates his time as assistant director and theatre/puppetry coordinator for Levels, a nationally acclaimed cultural center for teenagers in Great Neck, New York.
