Ben Beckley is a multifaceted artist who has made a significant impact in the entertainment industry. As an actor and writer, he has had the privilege of working on a wide range of projects, including hit television shows, award-winning independent films, and productions on and off Broadway.
Ben's television credits include notable shows such as New Amsterdam, Poker Face, The Onion, and Inventing Anna. His work on these shows has showcased his versatility and range as an actor.
In addition to his work in television, Ben has also had a successful career in theater. He made his Broadway debut in June 2019 in Heidi Schreck's critically acclaimed play, What The Constitution Means To Me. Ben not only acted in the production but also wrote and delivered his own personal monologue, which was a highlight of the show.
As the co-artistic director of his award-winning theater company, The Assembly, Ben has been instrumental in creating eleven original theatrical events. These events have showcased his ability to write and perform personal monologues, which have become a hallmark of his work.
Throughout his career, Ben has had the opportunity to work with some of the most talented writers and directors in the industry. He has originated roles in productions written by Tony Award-winners Itamar Moses and Christopher Durang, as well as experimental playwrights Kate Benson, Kenneth Collins, and Ariel Stess.
Ben's extensive credits also include first national tours, major musicals, and iconic classical works. He has had the privilege of working on productions such as Small Mouth Sounds, Peter and the Starcatcher, Sweeney Todd, Company, King Lear, and The Jew of Malta. In 2021, he appeared in the Broadway tour of A Christmas Carol.
Ben is a member of The Actors Center and has been a longtime student of Emmy Award-winner Gene Lasko, alongside notable actors such as Sigourney Weaver and Bradley Cooper.
