Ben Hardy was born Ben Jones on January 2, 1991, in England, United Kingdom, and spent his childhood in Sherborne, attending The Gryphon School.
In 2012, he made his stage debut in the play "The Judas Kiss" by David Hare, taking on the role of Arthur Wellesley, a hotel staff member, at the Hampstead Theatre on September 6 of that year.
In 2013, Ben was announced to play Peter Beale in the popular British soap opera EastEnders, succeeding Thomas Law, who portrayed the character from 2006 to 2010. Ben made his first appearance as Peter on June 7, 2013, and remained with the show until his departure on November 19, 2014.
After leaving EastEnders, Ben joined the cast of X-Men: Apocalypse in February 2015, initially in an undisclosed role. Following his departure from the soap, he was linked to Singer's next X-Men film and was even rumored to be in the running for the role of Cyclops, which ultimately went to Tye Sheridan. However, Ben ended up playing the role of Warren Worthington III, also known as the winged mutant Angel, in the 2016 film.
