Ben Nabors is a multifaceted creative professional who wears various hats as a director, writer, and producer. His first feature documentary, "WILLIAM AND THE WINDMILL", is a captivating story about the life and innovative spirit of windmill inventor William Kamkwamba. The film garnered significant recognition, winning the Grand Jury Prize at the prestigious 2013 South by Southwest Film Festival.
Nabors also co-wrote and produced the critically acclaimed short film "Palimpsest", which premiered at the esteemed Sundance Film Festival in 2013 and went on to win a Special Jury Prize. His work in the film industry continued to flourish, with his production of "BROOKLYN FARMER" making its world premiere at DOC NYC in 2014. The film later screened at the San Sebastian Film Festival in conjunction with the Berlinale.
In 2015, Nabors wrote and produced "Actor Seeks Role", a film that starred Alex Karpovsky and Dylan Baker. The movie won the Grand Jury Prize at IFFBoston and had its online premiere with The New Yorker. His continued success in the film industry led to his involvement in the production of "The Happy Film", a feature-length documentary about the life and pursuit of happiness of iconic graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister. The film, which Nabors co-directed and produced, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2016.
