Ben Tavassoli's life journey began in Brighton, England, where he was born. At the tender age of ten, his family made the significant decision to relocate to South East London, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his life. This move would ultimately influence his educational path, as he would attend secondary school and college in his new surroundings.
Initially, Ben's aspirations lay in the world of music, as the lead singer and guitarist of a band. However, a pivotal moment in his university days, where he participated in a play while studying Sport Science, sparked a newfound passion for the performing arts. This experience prompted him to explore the possibility of attending drama school, a decision that would ultimately lead to a life-changing opportunity.
Ben's first attempt at gaining admission to Central School of Speech of Drama resulted in a scholarship, a testament to his dedication and talent. Shortly after graduating, he was approached by Channel 4 to star in Paul Abbott's new drama, No Offence (2015). This marked the beginning of a successful career in television, as he went on to appear in Fox series Tyrant (2014),BBC One show Silent Witness (1996),and feature film Tomorrow (2018),produced by the renowned Martin Scorsese.
Ben's impressive resume continued to grow, as he landed the lead role of Rash in the BBC One drama New Blood (2016),written by the acclaimed Anthony Horowitz. The following years saw him take on the lead in feature film An Acceptable Loss (2018),alongside the talented Jamie Lee Curtis, and portray the character Nez in JJ Abraham's Overlord (2018).
