Bess Rous, a talented individual, was born and raised in the charming town of Short Hills, located in the state of New Jersey. At the tender age of 15, she made the bold decision to leave her home and pursue her passion for ice dancing at the renowned Ice Skating Science Development Center in Newark, Delaware. She remained there for three years, honing her skills and perfecting her craft, until she reached the age of 18.
After her time at the Ice Skating Science Development Center, Bess went on to further her education by enrolling at The Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting. In addition to her academic pursuits, she also holds a certificate from The London Academy of Theatre, a testament to her dedication to her craft.
Bess's impressive resume includes originating the role of Rachel Hardeman in Sarah Treem's "The How And The Why" opposite the esteemed actress Mercedes Ruehl at The McCarter Theatre in 2011. The following year, she took on the role of Rosy Perch opposite the accomplished actor Ed Harris in Beth Henley's "The Jacksonian" at The Geffen Playhouse.
