Bettina's journey in the world of acting began at the tender age of three, when she fell deeply in love with the craft, and it is safe to say that acting reciprocated her feelings.
As she grew older, Bettina's passion for acting only intensified, and she was soon invited to play the role of "Lord Peanut Butter" on a local cable children's network during her elementary school years.
This early exposure to the world of acting would ultimately lead to the establishment of a Theater Scholarship at Albany State University, before she transferred to Yeshiva University's Stern College for Women.
At the age of 18, Bettina's hard work and dedication paid off as she was accepted into the prestigious Actors Studio, where she had the privilege of studying under the guidance of legendary mentors such as Lee Strasberg, Ellen Burstyn, Shelley Winters, and Elia Kazan.
In 1999, Bettina began studying with Sande Shurin, who would go on to become her mentor for many years to come.
As Bettina's passion for acting continued to grow, she found herself drawn to a wide range of eccentric characters, which would take her on a journey across Israel, Europe, and back to New York, where she would ultimately reinvent her acting career.
Throughout her journey, Bettina's real-life experiences played a significant role in fueling her acting aspirations, as she worked as an Exotic Dancer, a Clown, a Tarot reader, and a VortexHealing practitioner.
With a wealth of real-life experiences to draw upon, Bettina's mission is to inspire and move others to have a better understanding of our human condition and to accept and love each other for who we are.
Today, Bettina Skye resides in Warwick, New York, with her loving drummer husband Steve Rubin and their adorable Shitzhu/Bichon puppy Zoop. And as a proud vegan, peanut butter is most definitely her jam.
