Born on Long Island, Bill was raised alongside his seven siblings in the suburban town of Massapequa, New York. His early years were marked by a strong athletic background, as he played football and ice hockey at St. John the Baptist D.H.S.
However, it was during his high school days that Bill discovered his passion for acting, which led him to pursue higher education in the field. He attended New York University and the renowned Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, where he honed his craft and developed his skills as a performer.
Upon completing his studies, Bill joined the prestigious fight group Fights R' Us, which specialized in stage combat and choreography for theater, television, and film. He worked on various projects, including stage fights for Broadway productions, television soaps, and the New York Renaissance Festival.
In 1988, Bill made his Broadway debut in a production of MacBeth, starring the esteemed Christopher Plummer and Glenda Jackson. This marked a significant milestone in his career, showcasing his talent to a wider audience.
Today, Bill resides in Toluca Lake, California, with his wife Kimberly, and their two children, Collin and Shannon. Over the past eight years, he has appeared in numerous television shows, including The Young and The Restless, Friends, Home Improvement, Desperate Housewives, and The West Wing.
In addition to his acting career, Bill has also ventured into production, forming All American Pictures, a low-to-mid-budget production company, in the fall of 2006. The company has since produced several films, including Zombie Wars and Lost At War, with five more projects currently in development.
Bill is set to star in and produce a film he wrote, titled Coyote Justice, which is expected to be released in the fall of 2007.
