Here is Bill "The Spaceman" Lee's biography:
Bill "The Spaceman" Lee was a left-handed pitcher who played for the Boston Red Sox and Montreal Expos from 1969 to 1982. He was one of the most colorful players in major league baseball history, known for his eccentricities and free-spirited ways. Lee won 16 or more games four times, including three straight 17-win seasons from 1973 to 1975. He was part of the Red Sox team that played in the 1975 World Series against the Cincinnati Reds.
Lee's productivity declined after being injured in a fight at Yankee Stadium in 1976, and he was eventually traded to the Montreal Expos in 1979. He helped pitch the Expos into their only post-season berth in 1981, and his last season was in 1982.
After retiring from baseball, Lee continued to be a public figure, writing three books and appearing in a documentary film. He currently lives in Vermont, where he is a farmer and plays semi-pro ball with the "Grey Sox". Lee is still a popular figure among Red Sox fans and appears on local radio stations during baseball season.
