Born in the vibrant city of Detroit, Michigan, a place where the sounds of music and laughter fill the air. It was here that a young Prady began his journey in the world of entertainment, setting his sights on making a name for himself in the industry.
In 1982, Prady made his way to New York, where he landed a job at "Jim Henson" Productions, then known as "Henson Associates". This was just the beginning of an incredible career, as Prady worked on a wide range of projects, including writing for the popular television show "The Jim Henson Hour".
One of Prady's most notable accomplishments during his time at "Jim Henson" Productions was his work on "MuppetVision 3-D", a 3-D Muppet movie that still delights audiences at Walt Disney World in Florida to this day. But Prady's talents didn't stop there. He went on to write numerous television specials, including the "Presidential Inaugural Celebration for Children", which earned him a prestigious CableAce Award.
Prady's impressive resume also includes credits on several popular sitcoms, such as "The Cosby Show" and "Married... with Children". He also worked as a producer and writer on the hit HBO series "Dream On", and served as a consulting producer on the NBC series "Caroline in the City".
In the late 1990s, Prady co-created the ABC series "Dharma & Greg", and went on to serve as co-executive producer on the show. His most recent project is the hit CBS sitcom "The Big Bang Theory", which he co-created and is currently writing and executive producing.
