Biography

Bishop Brigante, a talented individual born in Toronto, Canada, initially pursued a career in music. He was enrolled in a performing arts school at the age of 13, where he discovered his acting talent and was encouraged by his teachers and peers to pursue the art.

However, Brigante faced several failed attempts to find legitimate representation, which led him to focus on his music career instead. He became a renowned rap performer, touring across Canada and conceptualizing award-winning music videos for his songs.

It wasn't until a call from acclaimed director Joe Carnahan that Brigante considered acting as a career path. He was cast in the 2002 blockbuster Narc, starring Ray Liotta and Jason Patric, and played the role of Eugene 'Deacon' Sheps, a drug dealing and gun wielding character.

In 2003, Brigante joined the cast of the TV series Platinum, appearing in all episodes as "Two Way." He later took on the role of the head A&R of the fictional "Sweetback Records" in the same series.

In 2004, Brigante starred in a stage production of A Clockwork Orange, impressing audiences with his portrayal of the lead role, Alex DeLarge.

After signing a record deal in 2008 with Bodog Music, Brigante released the hit single "It's Fo Twenty" featuring Nate Dogg, which gained heavy radio rotation in Canada and reestablished him as a major player in the Canadian hip-hop scene.

Following a five-year hiatus, Brigante landed a role as the protagonist "Flip" in a short film called Random Walk, which also starred Devon Sawa and Serinda Swan.

In 2012, AUX TV commissioned Brigante to produce and host their television show Ultimate MC, in which he traveled across Canada to find the best battle rapper in the country.

In 2011, Brigante appeared in an episode of Against the Wall, and in 2012, he landed lead roles in the upcoming feature film Evil Feed and TV movie Chupacabra vs. the Alamo.
