Biz Lyon is a multifaceted performer with a strong presence in the London theatre scene.
Born in Kentucky, Biz has undergone extensive training in her craft, having graduated from The Juilliard School in New York and earning her MFA in acting from East 15 Acting School in London.
Recent highlights in her acting career include taking on the title role and multiple roles in the Arts Council-funded play Yaga at The Drayton Arms, as well as appearances on the Showtime series The Man Who Fell to Earth and in George Clooney's film The Boys in the Boat.
Biz has also had the opportunity to tour as Lady Jane Wilde in the new musical Vengeance: The Demise of Oscar Wilde, and has performed the role of Olivia in Twelfth Night at the Tea House Theatre in Vauxhall.
Her extensive repertoire also includes performances as Hovstad in An Enemy of the People at the Bridewell Theatre, May in The Things That Were There at The Hen & Chickens, Marlene in Top Girls, and the lead role in the one-woman Civil War-era show A World Kicked to Pieces, based on the memoirs of Mary Boykin Chesnut.
As a director, Biz has recently worked on the Little Lion's Stories from the Past and Stories from Home series, directing plays such as Mrs. Kray, The Florrons' Cake, and Across the Causeway, all written by Canadian authors.
Her other directing credits include Love's Labours Lost, Crimes of the Heart, and Tobacco Road, showcasing her versatility and expertise behind the scenes.
