Bo has spent the last thirty years making a name for himself in the television industry, wearing many hats along the way.
He started his career in Chicago, working as a writer and producer in the advertising business at Post, Keyes, & Gardner, and also honing his acting skills at the renowned Second City.
Currently, Bo is writing for Saturday Night Live from his home base in Minneapolis, and is also developing reality shows for a wide range of networks, including A&E and Discovery.
In addition to his work in television, Bo has recently completed two original thirty-minute web-series for General Mills Inc.
In the late 1970s, Bo made the move to Los Angeles, where he co-founded the Comedy Store Players and joined the Kentucky Fried Theatre, which would later spawn the classic films "Kentucky Fried Movie," "Airplane," and "Police Squad."
Bo then went on to write and produce several network series, including "Laverne & Shirley," Aaron Spelling's "Friends," Norman Lear's "Year At the Top," and over thirty network pilots.
He has also written for a variety of other shows, including "The Carol Burnett Show" and "Welcome Back Kotter."
In addition to his work in television, Bo has a long history in radio, having recorded, written, and produced over 5,000 radio commercials, earning him numerous Cleo and Radio Best Awards.
In the late 1980s, Bo relocated to Minneapolis, where he founded his own creative production company, focusing on humorous radio and television commercials, as well as corporate communications and reality television series.
Throughout his career, Bo has created and executive produced shows for a wide range of networks, including ABC, NBC, CBS, Comedy Central, Nickelodeon, Discovery, TLC, and HGTV.
