Bo Yokely was born and raised in North Carolina, where he met his wife Olivia in high school. He went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Communications and a minor in Theatre Arts from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
Bo's acting career began with small roles in Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (2017),Baywatch (2017),Into the Forest (2018),and Ponysitters Club (2019). His big break came as Chris, a womanizing pro-basketball player, in the Netflix original film Nappily Ever After (2018) opposite Sanaa Lathan. He then landed the lead role as Collin Traub, a rustic cowboy, in the Harlequin romance novel-turned-film After the Storm (2019).
Since then, Bo has taken on numerous lead roles, including Music manager Ryan Avery in Country Roads Christmas (2022),and his most notable role to date, IVF father Brian Crawford fighting for his son's custody in Lifetime's Switched Before Birth (2021). He has also played Eric Curry in Lifetime's secret Lives of Housewives (2021),and will appear in a reoccurring role as Coach Ken Nichols in Apple TV's Swagger (2022),as well as in the feature film The Hit (2023) as Devin Peterson.
Bo has also starred in the TV series Blue Ridge's Kenny (2023) and the Passionflix film Wallbanger as James Brown (2023),and can be seen as the Fireman Hero in Luke Combs' music video for The Kind of Love We Make (2023).
Outside of acting, Bo is also passionate about producing and is currently in the process of producing four feature films and two television series. In his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, MMA, horseback riding, and video games.
