Bojka Mihaylova Velkova, a renowned Bulgarian actress, was born on June 16 in the vibrant city of Sofia. She pursued her passion for acting at the prestigious National Academy for Theatre and Film Art, graduating in 1983 under the guidance of the esteemed Professor Dimitrina Gyurova.
Velkova's illustrious career began with a stint at the Ruse Drama Theatre, where she made her debut as Little Red Riding Hood. Her talent and dedication soon led her to secure roles at various esteemed institutions, including the Plovdiv Drama Theatre, Theatre "Sofia", the Bulgarian Army's Theater, and the National Theater.
