Bradley Walsh, a multifaceted individual, embarked on a film production journey while pursuing a four-year program in the Fine Arts department of Film faculty at York University. Upon completion, he co-founded Projektor Images and Sounds, his own production company.
With Projektor, Bradley produced and directed music videos for prominent Canadian and American recording artists, earning recognition on MuchMusic and MTV. His work attracted the attention of major recording labels and the advertising community, leading him into the world of commercial direction.
Bradley's impressive client list boasts numerous awards and nominations, including the First Cut Award for Best New Commercial Director. Simultaneously, he continued to direct music videos, garnering international acclaim with award-winning videos for LEN, Sum41, Gob, Not By Choice, and Treble Charger.
These music videos earned 15 MuchMusic Video Award nominations and six wins, including Best Video, Best Rock Video, Best Director, Best Pop Video, and Best Independent Video. His video for Len's "Steal My Sunshine" achieved significant success, topping the countdown on both MTV and MuchMusic and earning a Billboard Award nomination for Best Pop Video.
Bradley capitalized on these successes, transitioning into long-form projects, including short films, and screening at the prestigious Toronto International Film Festival. He directed his first television project, the pilot "Plato," and began focusing on directing drama for TV, while remaining active in music videos and commercials.
In 2007, Bradley was invited to direct MTV's "Kaya," and subsequently returned to direct the series, taking on the additional roles of series consulting producer and series composer. Bradley's other passion is music, and with recording partner Chris Byrne, they form the band bonspiel, creating original scored music for film and television, often scoring his own projects.
Today, Bradley resides between Toronto and Los Angeles.
