Brandyn Cross' life underwent a dramatic transformation following a near-fatal industrial accident, which left him a wheelchair-bound amputee with severe systemic nerve, tissue, and blood damage. As if this wasn't challenging enough, he was also autistic, making it even more remarkable that he overcame these obstacles to pursue his creative ambitions.
Initially, the world saw Brandyn as an invalid, incapable of contributing to society. However, he refused to accept this fate and instead focused on developing his innate creative abilities. Through determination and hard work, he honed his craft, eventually turning his passion into a professional reality.
Today, Brandyn is a multi-talented artist, exceling as a writer, recording artist, songwriter, filmmaker, and actor. His written work includes the feature film The Legacy and the Gary Coleman biography As if I Never Existed, which provides a unique glimpse into Gary's life during his final years.
Brandyn has also optioned and produced multiple feature screenplays, written over 100 episodes for TV series and specials, and is the writer/co-producer of the live event Jackie Evancho & Friends: We are Hope, which was filmed for television broadcast. He is currently releasing the first volumes of an epic book series, The Legacy, based on real events and taken from the writings of a terminally ill young boy who endured physical, emotional, and sexual abuse.
As a singer/songwriter, Brandyn has scored international top 10 hits such as Dear Mr. Jesus and If Money Talks (It Ain't on Speakin' Terms With Me),and his music video I Will Always Love You reached the top 10. He has also acted in films like Unicorn City and The Wayshower, and is currently in post-production for his feature directorial debut, The Legacy.
Brandyn is a recording artist on StarPointe Records and recently won "Best Song" at the Utah Film Festival & Awards for his composition and recording of Love Again, featured in the TV series Proper Manors.
