Brendon Zub is a Canadian actor whose life adventures and diverse skill set have allowed him to carve out a unique career and emerge as a highly sought-after and versatile actor.
Born in Vancouver, Brendon's family soon relocated to Calgary, Alberta, where he grew up as a Pastor's kid, class clown, and sports enthusiast, channeling most of his energy into becoming a professional baseball player. However, at the age of 10, his family's move to Hungary as missionaries brought a sudden change in his life, and his dreams of baseball were quickly replaced with soccer, basketball, and embracing a new culture.
It was during his time in Hungary that Brendon's love of acting was born, sparked by his fascination with old Classic Hollywood era movies on the sole English-speaking channel. However, it wasn't until he was transferred to an international boarding school in Germany that he began to hone his acting skills through drama class and a lead role in the High school play. This realization led him to set his sights on pursuing an acting career, abandoning his dreams of becoming a professional athlete.
Brendon has been recognized for his numerous roles on TV, including ABC's "The Good Doctor", FOX's "Fringe", The CW's "Batwoman", "Charmed", "Supernatural", "iZombie", "Emily Owens", "The 100", and "The Flash". He has also starred in various Hallmark and Lifetime movies, most notably "The Christmas Calendar", in which he starred opposite Laura Bell Bundy and received a 2018 Leo Award nomination for Best Lead Actor, and a second nomination in 2020 for his performance in "Made for you, with Love".
When not in front of the camera, Brendon can be found indulging in his passions, including scuba diving off BC's coast, skiing in Whistler, playing hockey, training Brazilian Jiujitsu, or roaming bookstores for the latest in high fantasy novels.
