Brigitte Kingsley is a Canadian actor, writer, and producer born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Her family relocated to Whitby, Ontario when she was ten years old. She began her acting career at the age of fourteen with television commercials and later became the host of the television series Game Nation for four seasons.
Kingsley studied theatre and psychology at York University, graduating with Honours and a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Theatre Studies. She then launched her production company Defiant Empire Corporation with business partner Andrew Cymek.
Throughout her career, Kingsley has produced over twenty feature films and MOWs, as well as two television series. She has produced and starred in films such as Dark Rising, Dark Rising 2: Summer Strikes Back!, and Warrior of Worlds.
Kingsley has also been involved in various other projects, including her work as president of Black Walk, a production company that has produced content in the industry for over 25 years. She has also produced films such as Medium Raw: Night of the Wolf, Two Hands to Mouth, and Country Crush.
In 2012, Kingsley left Black Walk to start her own production company, Good Soldier Films, with partner Andrew Cymek. Their first productions include Night Cries, The Man in the Shadows, and Country Crush.
Kingsley has also been producing romantic comedies and Christmas films for partners including Super Channel, Hallmark/Crown Media, UPTV, Lifetime, BYU, and Great American Family (GAC). Her recent productions include From Friend to Fiancé, Autumn Stables, Home for Harvest, Mistletoe Magic, A Very Corgi Christmas, My Boss' Wedding, and others.
In addition to her work in the film industry, Kingsley is also involved in various charitable initiatives, including collaborating with the Canadian Armed Forces to increase morale among deployed troops and vets during the holidays.
