Britani Bateman is a multifaceted artist, renowned for her captivating performances in various mediums. She is perhaps most recognizable for her roles as Kelly Powers in "The R.M.", Tori Spelling's best friend in "The Mistle-Tones", and the lead in "Mobsters and Mormons". With an impressive filmography, she has played leading and principal roles in 14 other motion pictures.
Beyond her work in film, Bateman has had a prolific career in television, shooting 46 national commercials, and working as a model, voice-over actress, actor on Broadway, professional dancer, and recording artist. Her versatility is a testament to her dedication to her craft.
Born as Britani Martin in California, Bateman was raised in a family of artists. From a young age, she was part of the family "business", touring in a musical style review with her parents and four siblings. Her early start in the industry led her to earn a BFA and graduate top of her class, landing a recording contract with Disney.
Under this contract, she sang the iconic songs "Part of Your World" and "Celebrate the Magic of Disney". She then spent a year in Japan, working for Tokyo Disneyland, shooting commercials, filming Japanese soap operas, and modeling. Bateman made her Broadway debut in the National Broadway Tour of "Miss Saigon", playing the role of Ellen.
She went on to star in several productions at Robert Redford's Sundance Theater, including playing Nancy in "Oliver" opposite Christopher Lloyd. Bateman also premiered the first-ever English version of the French musical "The Umbrellas of Cherbourg", playing Catherine Deneuve's character, opposite Maureen McGovern.
In addition to her artistic pursuits, Bateman is a successful entrepreneur. She is the owner of PURE Productions, a thriving entertainment production company, and co-founder of Groove Merchants and Starwood Development Group. Furthermore, she is a development agent with Summit Sotheby's International Realty in Park City, Utah.
