Brooke Lewis Bellas, also known as Brooke Lewis, was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and spent her summers at the Jersey shore. She is a multiple Telly Award-winning actress and producer, known for her work in various films and television shows.
Brooke began her creative dreams in Philly, where she grew up and later moved to New York City to pursue her acting career. She got her first "break" playing Donna Marsala in the Actors' Equity Off-Broadway hit comedy "Tony n' Tina's Wedding". She then moved to Hollywood and launched Philly Chick Pictures in 2002 to create more opportunities for herself as an actress.
Throughout her career, Brooke has played a wide range of roles, including the lead role of Stacey in the film teaser that won 3rd place on the first season of Project Greenlight (2001) on HBO. She has also played Dr. Grace Sario in Polycarp (2007) on SHOWTIME and had the title 'Scream Queen' bestowed upon her in the entertainment industry.
Brooke has received numerous awards and nominations for her work, including the 'B-Movie Award for Scream Queen Of The Year' for her work in Slime City Massacre (2010),the 'Mary Pickford Award' to "Highlight Women in The Film Arts" at Zed Fest, and the 'Best Actress In A Drama Award' for her work in Sprinkles (2010) at the prestigious Actors Awards.
In addition to her acting career, Brooke is a passionate Philanthropist who has performed on Broadway to benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and is a 'Rowdy Activist' for The Elizabeth Taylor AIDS Foundation. She is also a Celebrity Ambassador for the Breaking The Chains Foundation and has been involved in various charities supporting Breast Cancer Awareness, Women Empowerment, and more.
Brooke is a proud member of several organizations, including the Producers Guild of America (PGA),The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS),and the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts (AIVA). She is also a judge for the Emmy Awards, Daytime Emmy Awards, and Children's & Family Emmy Awards, as well as the Online Film & Television Association and the Hollywood Radio & Television Society.
In her free time, Brooke enjoys watching football and cheering for the Philadelphia Eagles.
