In 2004, while living in Thailand, he transitioned into the world of film, television, and voice acting, quickly establishing himself by booking numerous films and TV commercials.
Notable projects include working alongside Eric Roberts in "The Mark" and Ewan McGregor in "The Impossible" in December 2010, solidifying his passion for acting.
After a 13-year stay in Southeast Asia, Blain relocated to Vancouver to pursue acting full-time, landing recurring roles on TV shows such as "Once Upon a Time," "Riverdale," and "Supernatural."
He has also made day player appearances in various Vancouver-shot shows and films, including "Max 2: White House Hero," "Leprechaun: Origins," "Rampage 2 and 3," and Hallmark and Lifetime movies.
Additionally, Blain has served as the campaign voice for several VO campaigns.

Tragically, Bruce Stewart Blain passed away on May 15, 2021, at the age of 55, leaving behind his loving daughter, Jessica Erin Chaisson, his mother, and several siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, great big laugh, strong opinions, and determination, as well as his iconic role as an evil Santa Claus.
