Bruna Abdullah, a multitalented individual, was born on October 24, 1986, in Porto Alegre, Brazil, to an Arabian mother and a Brazilian father, making her the second of two children. Initially, she had no intention of making a name for herself in India, but during her tourist visit, she discovered an agency that resonated with her and thought it would be a great opportunity to earn some extra money while exploring the country. This chance encounter led her to make the bold decision to relocate from Brazil to Mumbai, setting her sights on a career in the Bollywood and fashion industries.
With a strong presence in Mumbai, Bruna has made significant strides in the entertainment industry. Her first foray into the world of music was with Shekhar Suman in his debut album, Mere Gham Ke Dayare Mein, where she performed an item song titled "Rehem Kare." She also lent her talents to Anubhav Sinha's Cash, performing another item song. Bruna's television career took off when she participated in the reality TV show "Dancing Queen" and later in "Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi Level 2" on Colors TV, hosted by the charismatic Akshay Kumar. Although she was eliminated on the third day of the show, she made a dramatic comeback as a Wild Card entry on the eighth day, only to be eliminated again on the 24th day of the show.
Bruna's impressive stunts on the show earned her praise from Akshay Kumar himself, and she went on to appear in several advertising commercials, including one for IndusInd Bank alongside Ranvir Shorey and another for Reebok with the renowned cricketer MS Dhoni. Her item girl debut in the movie "Desi Boyz" released in 2011 was followed by a role in one of the most anticipated Tamil movies of 2012, "Billa II," for which she received the prestigious Kalakar Award for the Best International Youth Icon Award.
