Biography

Bruno Angelico's mother, Gisele, a stunning French/Native American brunette, was a lead vocalist, while his father, Jo, was the first guitarist for Edith Piaf. Born in Livorno, Italy, Jo was a Jazz-Mambo Band leader who performed with renowned artists like Dizzy Gillespie and Cab Calloway. The family relocated to Manhattan, New York, where they toured the US, Cuba, and Mexico during the mid-1950s.

At the age of five, Bruno was sent to boarding school, where he began studying martial arts and acrobatics, which laid the foundation for his discipline and creativity. He immersed himself in martial arts, both physically and spiritually, as a means to cope with his parents' absence. Bruno became an expert in Chinese Gung-fu, dedicating his time to daily practice and lifestyle.

As a bass player, Bruno also studied industrial, architectural, advertising, and automotive engineering, while visiting his school, which was frequently attended by martial artists and celebrities like John Liu, Roger Paschy, Chuck Norris, and Bruce Lee. In 1976, he participated in the first Thai boxing exhibition in the Western world, organized in Paris by Roger Paschy.

In his early twenties, Bruno relocated to New York City, pursuing his passions for classic cars and stunts. He later moved to Los Angeles, where he studied dramatic arts at the prestigious Actors Studio, acting alongside Susan Peretz, Shelley Winters, Barbara Bain, and Barry Primus. Bruno received accolades for his performances in "No Naked Heroes" and "Seven Shades of Light" at the Actor's Studio.

From 2000, Bruno appeared as a guest star in LA Confidential alongside Kiefer Sutherland and in the TV series Sliders, as well as in various films and music videos with Jewel and Enrique Iglesias. His fluency in languages and accents, combined with his ability to create and shift into characters, made him an international actor.

Bruno Angelico developed a unique art and expertise, creating a new form of extreme sport, referred to as "Traveling Rings." His goals with the foundation are to help children build character, self-esteem, concentration, focus, and discipline through this emerging sport and art. Bruno has been featured on prominent Nike commercials, the Discovery Channel, LA Inc, L.A. Times, and the NY Times.

As a martial artist and stuntman, Bruno's skills give him a unique edge as an actor, allowing him to take on versatile roles for visionary directors.
