Bunny Waters, a renowned swimmer, was born in Flagstaff, Arizona, and received training in freestyle swimming from the illustrious Johnny Weissmuller. Despite her impressive skills, she unfortunately lost her amateur standing when she appeared in the film Bathing Beauty, wearing a bathing suit. Her unofficial freestyle record remained unbroken until 1958.
In her personal life, Bunny Waters married Johnny Green in November 1943. The couple welcomed two daughters: Kathe Green, born on September 22, 1944, and Christopher Allison, born on March 17, 1946. Christopher, also known as Kim, later changed her name and is now married to Bruno Meglio. Bunny Waters is a proud grandmother of three: Jean Paul, Nicole, and Giovannie & Mia, and a great-grandmother to Gianna Rhodes, Nicole's daughter.
Throughout her life, Bunny Waters dedicated herself to various charitable causes in Beverly Hills, California, where she resided with her husband, the five-time Oscar-winning director Johnny Green, until his passing in 1989. She sadly passed away just one and a half years later.
