Michael Caleb Roehrig was born on February 22, 1978, in the charming city of Ann Arbor, Michigan. As a young boy, his creative journey began when his parents purchased a camcorder, and he started making numerous short films with his brother. These early productions, titled "Michael's Movie Minutes," showcased his brother Dan as the camera operator, while Caleb took on the challenging role of portraying virtually every character. Some of his notable early works include "Macbeth Bites The Big One," "Cinematic Murder a.k.a. Drown In Front," and "Who Shot The Frugal Gourmet?"
As he entered high school, Caleb's passion for theater only intensified, and he began landing significant roles. He played the iconic character Nicely-Nicely Johnson in Ann Arbor Huron High School's production of "Guys And Dolls" and also secured the part of Mr. Mushnik in "Little Shop Of Horrors," as well as numerous other roles. Upon receiving his diploma in 1996, Caleb pursued his academic interests in theatre at Michigan State University. During his time at the university, he directed his first original play, "Curses!", a captivating mystery-comedy. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 2000 and, two years later, made the bold decision to relocate to Los Angeles to pursue his dream.
Currently, Caleb is working on his first novel, a testament to his versatility as a creative individual. His debut film, "Scarecrow Gone Wild," is set to be released on video on March 6, 2004.
