Camilla Carr's biography:
Camilla Carr is a multi-talented artist, writer, and actress. She is currently in production on her film "Liz en Septiembre", an adaptation of Jane Chambers' play "Last Summer at Bluefish Cove", which she co-produced with Fina Torres.
As a writer, Camilla has made a name for herself with her critically acclaimed novel "Topsy Dingo Wild Dog", which was published internationally. She has also written several screenplays, including "Illumination", an adaptation of Thomas Mann's novella "The Black Swan", which is in development with producer Stratton Leopold.
Camilla's play "All About Bette: An Interlude With Bette Davis" has been optioned by Michael A. Jenkins and is set to premiere at the London's West End in Fall 2012, directed by David Schweizer.
In addition to her writing and acting career, Camilla has a background in television, having written numerous motion pictures for television, including a musical for Dolly Parton, "High and Mighty", and the adaptation of Edna Buchanan's novel "Nobody Lives Forever".
Camilla's most recent novel is "Packard Jordan's Final Appeal to the Texas State Parole Board", and she is also writing a screenplay about Bette Davis.
As an actress, Camilla has received numerous awards and accolades, including three Dramalogue Awards for her performances in "The Pink Lady", "Last Summer at Bluefish Cove", and "The Inspector General". She has also appeared in several productions with the Los Angeles Theatre Center, including the World Premiere of Beth Henley's "Sisters of the Winter Madrigal".
In television, Camilla has played roles in several soap operas, including "Another World" and "Falcon Crest", and is still remembered for her portrayal of Imogene in the highly acclaimed segment "They're Killing All the Right People" from "Designing Women".
