Cari's early life was deeply rooted in the coastal scenery of North Carolina, where she spent her formative years riding and showcasing her equestrian skills, and was essentially a child of the beach. Her fascination with the world of theatre began in her fourth grade class, when she was captivated by her first reading of a play. This initial spark would later ignite a lifelong passion for the performing arts.
Cari's family heritage is a rich tapestry, with her father's Jewish lineage tracing back to Russia, where his ancestors arrived in the early 1900s and settled in Staten Island. Meanwhile, her mother's Irish roots also have a long history, with her family arriving in the United States around the same time as her father's family.
Cari's academic pursuits led her to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Double Major in Broadcast Journalism and Film Studies. However, it was her decision to take an acting class in her final semester of college that would forever alter the course of her life. This bold move marked the beginning of her journey as a professional actress.
After graduating, Cari embarked on a life-changing adventure, relocating to Lima, Peru, where she spent time living, traveling, and honing her surfing skills. Upon her return to the United States, she launched her acting career, securing a role on the CW's popular series, One Tree Hill, and has since continued to build a successful career in the entertainment industry.
Throughout her life, Cari has been drawn to the vibrant cultural scenes of both New York City and Los Angeles, where she has studied and honed her craft. She is a proud graduate of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in LA and remains an active member of the city's thriving comedy community.
When not on set, Cari can be found exploring the great outdoors with her two beloved dogs, practicing yoga to maintain her physical and mental well-being, or pouring her heart and soul into her writing endeavors.
