His early career in show business began at the esteemed Pasadena Playhouse's School of Theatre, where he honed his craft and laid the foundation for his future endeavors.
In 1964, Carl Monson took a significant step by co-founding the Curtain Call Theater in North Hollywood, California, alongside his first wife, Laura Shelton. This critically acclaimed invitational playhouse became a testament to his passion and dedication to the art of theater.
Beyond his work in theater, Carl Monson also explored other creative avenues, including writing, directing, and producing several low-budget exploitation movies. His acting skills were also showcased in a few films, further demonstrating his versatility as a performer.
In addition to his work in film and theater, Carl Monson co-founded Bumblebee Productions with his second wife, Tricia Kross. This collaboration allowed him to explore new creative opportunities and expand his professional reach.
