Carlos's tenure at ESCAC was a pivotal period in his artistic development, as it was during this time that he conceptualized and brought to life his inaugural short film, "Parallelism", a spine-tingling 80's horror tale that unfolded against the foreboding backdrop of the allegedly haunted "Hospital del Tórax" in Spain. This maiden effort served as a springboard for his subsequent forays into the horror genre, providing a solid foundation upon which he would build his future creative endeavors.
Carlos, a visionary filmmaker, continued to make a name for himself in the horror genre by crafting his second feature-length horror film, "Succession", a masterpiece that would go on to garner an astonishing 11 prestigious awards and a staggering 60 national and international selections, including the highly acclaimed Sitges Film Festival, a testament to his remarkable talent and unwavering dedication to his craft, thus further solidifying his reputation as a masterful and forward-thinking Director.
In the early months of 2022, Carlos embarked on a thrilling adventure within the realm of horror, spearheading the conception of the eerie and captivating "Back to Bed". As the post-production process for this spine-tingling project was well underway, Antonio Rosa Lobo, a seasoned producer, took the initiative to gather a talented team of industry professionals, comprising David Bond, renowned for his work on the chilling film "Bloodthirsty", and Gregory S. Burkart, a master of the macabre, best known for his contributions to the popular web series "BlackBoxTV". This formidable collective of creatives has joined forces to bring forth a chilling horror anthology, aptly titled "Creepypasta: The movie", which is poised to make its highly anticipated premiere this autumn.
