Carlos Miguel Páez Rodríguez, also known as Carlitos, is a multifaceted individual who has worn many hats throughout his life. By profession, he is an agricultural technician, businessman, publicist, writer, and lecturer, showcasing his versatility and range of skills.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Páez is also a sports enthusiast and a former rugby player for the Uruguayan team Old Christians Club. This passion for sports led him to be part of the team that survived the tragic FAU 571 plane crash in the Andes in 1972.
Born to Carlos Páez Vilaró, a renowned Uruguayan painter, and Madelón Rodríguez Gómez, Páez comes from a creative and artistic background. He is one of six siblings, including Mercedes, Agó, Sebastián, Florencio, and Alejandro.
