Carlyne Fournier, a talented and bilingual actress, voiceover artist, and producer, hails from the outskirts of Montreal. Her remarkable career has seen her take on various roles in feature films such as Spin The Plate, Justice is Mind, I Am Monroe, and The Witching Hour, alongside notable actors Michael Madsen and William Forsythe.
As a producer, Carlyne has received recognition for her work, including the award for Best Supporting Actress at the 2012 Massachusetts Independent Film Festival for her role in the short film My Pretty Maura. She is particularly proud of the award-winning music video "Take my Keys," which raises awareness about the dangers of teen-drunk driving.
Carlyne's true passion lies in creating films that shed light on social issues, aiming to provoke social change through her work. She combines her creative craft with the power of media to educate and promote global awareness on important social issues.
Recent projects have seen Carlyne work as an actor and producer on films addressing various serious topics. These include Remember When, an award-winning film about Alzheimer's Disease; Day One, a film about alcoholism-recovery amongst teens; Sunny Side Up, a feature about social anxiety; Spin The Plate, an award-winning film confronting the sexual abuse of children; Double Zero, a short film about Anorexia; Theory of Conflict, a film taking on racial & ethnicity clashes amongst college students; and Silence, a feature exploring the tremendous impact of texting & social media on our lives.
When not honing her craft or working on productions, Carlyne cherishes quality time with her family, often spending time with them in Quebec or at their home by the ocean in Massachusetts.
