Carolyn's journey in the world of performing arts began in Austin, Texas, where she was introduced to musicals at her local acting studio from a young age. These productions instilled in her a deep appreciation for the art of storytelling, and she has been driven to tell stories ever since.
As she entered her teenage years, Carolyn's family relocated to Edmond, Oklahoma, where she started taking professional acting classes at Spotlight Acting Studio. Under the guidance of her teacher, she was encouraged to consider acting as a viable career path, and she soon found herself auditioning for the prestigious University of Oklahoma Peggy Dow Helmerich School of Drama.
Carolyn's hard work and dedication paid off when she was one of twelve women accepted into the University's esteemed program, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with honors. During her time at the University, she signed with her first agent in Oklahoma and began to make a name for herself in the film and television community, working with the state's only C.S.A. casting director and serving as the paid recruiter for the School of Drama for three years.
Upon graduating with honors, Carolyn made the bold move to Los Angeles, where she quickly began booking roles in her first week in town. To continue honing her craft, she has trained with renowned instructors at Matthew Barry Teaches, The BGB Studio, UCB, and Tess Kirsch Acting Studio.
When she's not bringing characters to life on screen, Carolyn enjoys spending quality time with her loved ones, staying physically active, devouring good books, and exploring new horizons through travel.
