Cate Cohen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from the esteemed University of California, Los Angeles' School of Theater, Film, and Television, marking the beginning of her illustrious career in the performing arts.
Upon graduation, Cohen relocated to New York City to pursue her passion for theater, where she quickly established herself as a talented and versatile performer. Her impressive list of credits includes notable productions such as "The Secret of Irreplaceable Lust" at the Public Theater, "I Hate Hamlet" at The Space, "Infinite Cages" at the New York Fringe Festival, and "The Will Rogers Follies" on the National Tour.
After returning to Los Angeles, Cohen's focus shifted to film and television, with recent credits including "According to Jim," "Moonlight," and "Without a Trace." Her impressive resume also boasts the lead role in the independent feature "Gods of Circumstance," set for release in 2008.
In addition to her television and film work, Cohen has also made a name for herself on the stage, performing at the prestigious U.S. Comedy Arts Festival with the group "Those Courtney Girls," directed by the acclaimed Bob Odenkirk. Her experience with the award-winning Buffalo Nights Theater Company further solidified her reputation as a talented and dedicated performer.
