Catrinel Marlon, a talented individual, was born on October 1, 1985, in Iasi, Romania. Following in the footsteps of her father, a champion in the 400 meters hurdles Olympic, Catrinel initially pursued a career in athletics before being discovered at the age of sixteen by a local agent during a school trip to Bucharest.
After six months, she relocated to the capital of Romania, where she began her modeling career. Her Italian-Romanian heritage captured the attention of numerous major fashion houses, including Giorgio Armani and Lise Charmel.
Catrinel's acting career took off with her participation in various films, such as La città ideale directed by Luigi Lo Cascio and Tuttii rumori del mare directed by Federico Brugia.
Her creative endeavors didn't stop at acting; she also ventured into photography and painting. Her passion for painting led her to open an art gallery at Studios in Rome, a studio for film productions that have seen some of the most prominent groups in the history of international cinema.
In 2013, Catrinel launched Catherinelle, a line of handbags inspired by memories, childhood, ideas that cinema and Rome constantly evoke in her. Each bag is a story, a film that belongs to us, concealed by a door but spied through a keyhole.
Throughout her life, Catrinel has expressed herself through fashion, acting, photography, and painting, inspired by everything that is art and surrounds her.
