Chaislyn Jane King, also known as Chaislyn, is an American singer-songwriter and actress born on March 30, 2001, and currently residing in Louisiana.
As a child, Chaislyn's roots were planted in her local musical theatre scene, where she began to flourish at a young age. Her early performances included playing the role of the caterpillar in a production of Alice in Wonderland at the tender age of nine, and later took on various characters such as Ariel in The Little Mermaid, Teen Fiona in Shrek: The Musical, and Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz.
Chaislyn made her official debut in the music industry at the age of seventeen with the ballad 'Little Did I Know' in 2018, which was initially the fifth and final track of an EP titled 'With Love' that has since been removed from streaming platforms. Two years later, in 2020, she returned with 'Dreams I Forgot About', a more upbeat pop song.
Over the years that followed, Chaislyn continued to experiment with various sounds while primarily remaining within the pop genre. Her single 'Make Believe' is her most successful release to date, boasting over 600,000 monthly listeners on Spotify.
